Bry did swim lessons again this year. In previous years, he was the kid who didn't want to get his face wet, and was shy about the water. Something clicked this year, and he became that annoying kid in class who wanted to show up everyone else, always wanted to be first, and wanted to do it all by himself! I think the change was getting the above ground pool at our house, he had time to get comfortable in the water before swim lessons started. He learned how to float on his front and back, push off the side of the pool and "superman swim", blow bubbles under water, dive under to get fish, and jump in by himself. Kend watched from the sidelines, I'm sure wondering why she couldn't be right there with him!
