Signs of summer ending: cooler nights, packing away the camping/floating gear, stowing away the backyard pool, and... the county fair! We met with a large group of friends at the park for a birthday party before hand (yes, cake and ice cream for dinner, corn dogs for dessert!), then headed for the fair. This year was a bit different, there was a definite division of the kids. In previous years we all stuck together, but the biggest kids are all now big enough to ride the "scary" rides. So we split up and stuck with our friends with kids that were about the same ride height. It was a bit tough for Bry because he was the shortest, but there were plenty of rides he could go on, and he had a great time!
We met at the park to celebrate Aid's birthday before heading to the fair.
The bigger kids went off to ride their rides, while the littlest sat and watched.
Maybe next year kiddos!
